Meet the Founders
Brittany and Nick created TPC from a shared belief that connection grows through shared experiences. Passionate about travel, playfulness, adventure, and connection, they built TPC to help people step outside their routines, explore the world, stay active, and build meaningful friendships through unforgettable experiences.
Our Story
TPC actually started as Travel Pickleball Club. We created it to bring people together from around the globe through a social and competitive game such as pickleball, but along the way, we discovered something bigger. The real magic wasn’t just happening on the court, it was in the friendships, laughter, shared experiences, and sense of community being built. We felt that many people were missing out because they had the belief that they couldn’t experience our trips if they weren’t an avid pickleball player.
That realization inspired us to grow into something more. Today, TPC is expanding beyond pickleball to create experiences for anyone looking to travel, connect, stay active, and embrace adventure. While our roots will always matter, our vision is bigger than a sport, it’s about creating a community where people feel inspired to explore, belong, and find their childlike sense of wander and playfulness.
Our Vision
From the destinations we’ve explored to the ones still ahead, every trip is designed with connection, play, and adventure at its core. As we grow, so will the experiences we offer, expanding beyond pickleball into a variety of active and social group travel experiences while staying true to who we are.
Expect more than just a vacation. Think team challenges, playful competition, Survivor-style adventures, shared experiences, and large homes that turn strangers into friends and keep the connection going long after the day ends. Wherever we go next, our goal remains the same: travel with purpose, stay active, and create a community that feels like family.
Where we’ve been…
Gatlinburg, TN
Our inaugural pickleball trip took place in Gatlinburg, Tennessee in October of 2023. We stayed in a nice log cabin with a hot tub, cooked up meals for our VIP guests, played some pickleball in the pouring rain, hiked to some not so falling waterfalls, went go-karting, and played some cards in the evening together. We introduced games, riddles, and challenges throughout the trip such as rock, paper, scissors, night pickleball team challenges, and solving riddles at stops throughout our hikes to add some extra fun.
St. George, UT
May of 2024, we hosted three back to back groups in St. George, Utah offering several mornings of pickleball at Little Valley Complex, hiking Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park, making a pit stop at In-N-Out Burger after a long hike through Snow Canyon State Park, swimming, cliff-jumping, tubing, and wake-boarding at Sand Hollow State Park, had cookouts at the house, played cards, and hot tubbed at the end of the full days we planned out. Our games and challenges got a little more intricate with connect four and sudoku pickleball, check points challenges with a lockbox throughout our hike through Snow Canyon. The final challenge at the farewell party had everyone’s mind spinning, but winners were determined and an ice cream social was in play while we watched a highlight video of our trip together in the living room before everyone packed up to head home.
Sedona, AZ
Sedona, Arizona was a must for us since it is one of our personal most favorite places to visit in America. We stayed together in the heart of Sedona with a rooftop 15 person hot tub with sunsets to die for. We played pickleball with the red rocks as our backdrop, hiked Bell rock, Cathedral rock, cliff jumped at Grasshopper Point, and even found our way to Subway Cave.
Nuevo Vallarta, MX
We slowed things down a bit in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico at the Marival Residences All-Inclusive Resort. Gourmet food, brand new pickleball courts, beach, pool. group workouts and an evening adventure to Rhythm of the Nights.
Tamarindo, Costa Rica
In April of 2025, we hosted our first group in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. We did everything from surf lessons, ATVing, hiking to a waterfall, white water tubing, mud baths, hot springs, catamaran sunset tour with snorkeling, jump deck, and waterslide. It was the craziest adventure we will never forget!
St. George, UT- Year 2
This time in St. George we took a recovery group from Colorado. We truly enjoyed the opportunity to share some peak life experiences with individuals that didn’t take one second of it for granted.
Lake Tahoe, NV/CA
August of 2025, we led a group around the stunning Lake Tahoe, literally. We stopped at the pickleball courts, popular viewpoints, did some shopping, watched the sunset, did some bike riding in pouring down rain, and had some team challenges at the house that we made up on the fly.
Tamarindo, Costa Rica- Year 2
April of 2026, we ran it back to Tamarindo, Costa Rica and it still holds true as our favorite trip we offer yet. We had a crew that loved to groove to some good tunes, was all over the board with pickleball, went all in on the challenges as a team, and just meshed like we’ve never seen a group from all over do before. Pink took the gold again for the second year in a row. Should we quit while we are ahead here? or run it back again for a third year in a row?? We’ll roll the dice on this one. Join us in April of 2027 for 6 days full of adventure and laughter!
Where we’re going…
We are going big in late 2026 & 2027
We ain’t playing around in 2026 and 2027 with the expansion of TPC. We are finishing the year at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Michigan, Phuket, Thailand, Ubud, Bali, and Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We’ll kick start 2027 with an all-inclusive getaway in Riviera Maya, Mexico at the Grand Palladium Katenah in February. Running it back for a third year in in March/April to Tamarindo, Costa Rica. We’ll be celebrating all our mamas for Mother’s Day in May at the Pickleball Penthouse in St. George, UT. We’ll explore the Pacific Northwest before we hop on an Alaskan Holland America Cruise in August out of Vancouver and a couple months later we’ll take as many past attendees and new friends as we can to La Fortuna, Costa Rica to finish out the year with a bang!
In between our trips, we’ll be hosting pop up events right here in Clearwater/St.Pete, Florida or in Ohio and Michigan, where we grew up. Looking forward to expanding our community and offering experiences near and far to check off some bucket list items together!
